Electric Pressure Cooker
In Letting off steam TribTown.com author Cathy Thomas says she has fallen in love with a Cuisinart Electric Pressure Cooker. I have a stove top pressure cooker, which I love, but apparently the advantage of an electric one is that you can set and forget.
The Amazon reviews are mixed (as usual). One reviewer prefers the stovetop Fagor. Another review comment states "Electronic pressure cookers are far superior to the old stove-top ones. You set the electronic cooker and forget it. No fiddling with the range temp, no worrying about timing." This reviewer, Rational, who has 27 reviews, also says "I recommend the Presto unit; Cuisinart items in my experience has gone WAY downhill in the past few years. (Stay away from the Wolfgang Puck appliances, too.)"
